Exciting opportunity to be a film star
continued:

We are looking for 2 families to volunteer themselves and their homes. Both homes and families will be used to demonstrate what should be done should you be asked to 'Go In, Stay In and Tune In' in the event of an emergency. This will include filming you and your family making sure you are safely inside your home, closing windows and doors and tuning into to the local radio as well as looking at what supplies you should keep at home. This part of the filming will take place on the afternoon of Friday 3rd April and must be in Birmingham.

In addition we are looking for 50 volunteers to act as evacuees from their homes and be filmed standing behind a Police cordon. This will take place at 3pm on Thursday 2nd April in the Stirchley area.

If you are interested, please e-mail emergencyplanning@birmingham.gov.uk or contact 303 4825 and speak to Glen Curry, of the Birmingham Resilience Team.

You must be available during the specified times and this opportunity is also available to non-BCC employees. Your line managers permission will be required if these times are during your working hours.
